Quality Management System
Methods
You can easily represent and organize all methods -procedures, protocols, guidelines, checklists or information organizations- in benchsys-lab at any level of detail that suits your needs. A method can contain steps and sub-steps organized in easily defined workflows (possibly with decision points). A method can also call other methods.
Edition workflow
benchsys-lab allows, but not forces, to define an up-to-4-levels edition workflow of a method with a cascade of electronic signatures of editors, verifiers, approvers and publishers. Only the last version of a method is visible to all (or a restricted set of) users. All previous methods are archived. Recent methods are flagged and it is possible to set-up an expiration date. Users can comment a method between two versions (through a moderator). The publication of a new version of a method can be automatically notified to a diffusion list of users and their browsing of the new versions can be traced.
Nonconformities
benchsys-lab includes a complete but flexible management of nonconformities, incidents, complaints, and accidents which are declared, possibly anonymously, in benchsys-lab (thus facilitating the return of experience to the organization) or using user-defined HTML forms. benchsys-lab contains several collaboration tools to facilitate and record the analysis of the tree of causes of an event and to set actions to reduce risk that are delegated and traced. All nonconformities can be tagged using the taxonomies of benchsys. They can be exported in csv or xml formats for statistical or systemic analysis.
