Analyses/experiments
- All methods of benchsys-lab can be "executed" (within benchsys-lab or using a user-defined html form) which will automatically create activities for managers, operators and/or witnesses who can trace them in their own to-do list and can organize them in a calendar.
- All objects linked to a method (resources, documents, records, templates...) can be automatically copied in the activity. Execution flow can be strict, free or a combination of both.
- Executed (terminated and validated) tasks are locked.
- It is also possible to define and organize plans/projects that can also call the execution of methods.
- The visibility of a branch of activities can be restricted.
- Several activities can be executed together in runs.
Resources
- benchsys-lab offers a complete management of resources -samples, reagents and instruments-, including their composition and their storage (in another resource).
- They can be associated to any method or activity, creating a full traceability of their (potential) uses (raw material, product, maintenance, storage, analysis...).
- Properties/measurements or documents can be attached to any resource.
Records
- benchsys-lab offers a user-friendly approach to associate quantitative, qualitative and textual properties and measurements ("records") to resources, methods and activities.
- A new property/measurement can easily be added from a predefined list or newly defined by user at any time.
- A record is linked to sets of units (with SI reference unit for conversion) and qualities ("red", "high"...) to facilitate the recording task.
- It is possible to define mandatory records which must be filled before terminating its associated activity. Allowed and expected ranges can be set to refuse or color a specific record.
